OTTAWA-A well-known book store in Old Ottawa South will be closing its doors next month.
Mother Tongue Books has been operating from its Bank and Sunnyside location for 18 years, but co-owner Evelyn Huer told 1310News, the business had run its course.
Huer said they had many fond memories in that location, but cited the ever-changing book industry as reasons for the closure.
She said the store had been losing revenue over the last five years in the wake of eReaders and online books.
Mother Tongue will close July 21st.
