MONTREAL- Montreal police have confirmed that the body part found in a park on Sunday is the head of Chinese student Jun Lin.

The 33-year-old Concordia student was murdered and dismembered in late May, with body parts sent to Ottawa and Vancouver.

The only suspect in the case, Luka Magnotta, was arrested in Berlin and will be back in Montreal court next March.

It’s hoped the discovery will help bring closure to Lin’s family, who have been in Montreal awaiting this news.
