Looking for some inexpensive, creative ways to entertain the family?

Well, the National Capital Commission (NCC) has a suggestion for you.

The NCC in collaboration with Manulife Financial is presenting the 3rd annual Mosaika Sound and Lights show on Parliament Hill starting Friday July 6.

It’s a 30-minute bilingual outdoor show that takes audiences on a spectacular adventure exploring Canada’s rich physical and historical landscape through the use of vibrant light and sound effects.

And the best part about the show, it’s absolutely free!

Starting on July 6 and running all the way through til Sept. 3, residents will be able to go down to Parliament Hill, have a picnic by the Peace Tower with friends and family and take in an informative, entertaining show about Canadian culture and history.

For July, the productions starts at 10 p.m.  In August, starts times are pushed forward a half hour to 9:30 p.m and again for September as shows will commence at 9 p.m.

While the event is being offered to the public every night, organizers have cautioned that some shows may be cancelled if poor weather conditions prevail.
