A new court date has been set for Olympic gold medal-winning sprinter Donovan Bailey, who is facing a charge of impaired driving.

Bailey was expected to head to court, Monday, however the case was postponed to July 24.

Bailey, 44, was pulled over in downtown Toronto on March 28, 2011.

According to the Toronto Star, it’s the third time the former sprinter has faced driving-related charges. In 1998, Bailey was fined for failing to remain at the scene of a crash, and in 2001, he received a $975 fine after he was convicted of going 200 kilometres an hour on the Queen Elizabeth Way.

An earlier court appearance on this latest charge was put off because Bailey was in Jamaica promoting the London Summer Olympics.
