Four young people were taken to hospital after voluntarily taking a date-rape drug

The drug that was ingested is gamma hydroxybutyrate, commonly known as GHB.

It’s believed 300 to 400 people were attending a rave in L’Ange Gardien and police in the area had been monitoring it throughout the night.

They were then called to the scene at 2 a.m. Sunday morning and a man in his 20′s was found unconscious.

Four people were taken to hospital; two have since been released. One remains under observation and another in the intensive care unit.

Police later discovered that the victims had taken the drug voluntarily.

No charges will be laid.
