The Ottawa Police Robbery Unit is seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect in two downtown robberies.
On July 8, 2012, at approximately 1:20 am, a male suspect entered a convenience store in the 400 block of Rideau Street.
He demand for cash but fled the store empty handed. On the same day, at approximately 4:20 am, he entered a convenience store in the 300 block of Rideau Street.
The suspect demanded cash and fled the store with an undisclosed quantity.
He is described as a Caucasian, 30-40 years of age, English speaking, large build, clean shaven, with graying hair. He was wearing green shorts, white running shoes and a white baseball cap.
