Ottawa Police are on the hunt for an alleged serial taxi robber.
Police said the man, who allegedly robbed two taxi drivers in June, struck again July 25th.
They said a cab driver was approached by a man near the Fairmont Chateau Laurier around 5:40 that morning.
The suspect asked for a trip to Barrhaven, and when the driver asked for the fare in advance, the suspect immediately pulled a knife, demanded cash and assaulted the driver.
The driver was treated in hospital for minor injuries.
The suspect is believed to be the same person that got into a cab on June 13th on Rideau Street.
He asked to be driven to Montreal Road, and then directed the driver onto a side street, where he allegedly brandished a knife and demanded money.
The suspect fled empty-handed and the driver sustained a minor cut to his finger.
The very next day, another driver was robbed at knife-point after picking up a fare on Rideau Street.

The suspect is described as:
-white
-in his 20′s
-5’6″ – 5’8″
