An 80-year-old Lanark woman is dead after a pick up truck slammed into her van as she was backing out of her driveway on Highway 7 west of Perth.
OPP say the collision happened around 4:30 Sunday afternoon, and forced them to close a portion of the highway.
The 49-year-old driver of the pick up truck, from Oakville Ontario was uninjured while two of his passengers, a 48-year-old woman and a 14-year-old girl were taken to a nearby hospital with minor injuries.
There were two other passengers in the truck, but they did not suffer any injuries.
Police have since reopened the highway.
