Ottawa Police responded to a call last night regarding an erratic driver on the Ottawa River Parkway at Woodroffe Avenue.

The vehicle was followed by witnesses eastbound where it entered the Transitway, lost control and struck a rock wall.

The driver of the vehicle was taken to hospital with non life threatening injuries.

Nobody else was hurt in the incident.

A 32 year old male has been charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and operate a motor vehicle with blood/alcohol concentration over 80 ml in 100 mg of blood.
