OTTAWA – Ottawa police have issued a Canada-wide warrant for a man wanted in the shooting death of an Ottawa man and wounding of two others last March.
Maher S. Majed, 21, of Ottawa, is charged with one count of first-degree murder and two counts of attempted murder.
He is described as Middle Eastern, six-foot-one, 230 pounds with short black hair, a husky build and brown eyes.
Police say Khalid Doreh, 20, was killed at a home (on Borthwick Avenue) last March 23.
Two other men were wounded.
Zakaria Dourhnou, 19, of Gatineau, Que., was previously charged with the same offences in connection with the incident.
