Montreal’s major crimes unit has been called in to investigate the death of a 51-year-old man in Gracefield.

The man’s body and a motorcycle were found Thursday on a bicycle trail.

Montreal police are trying to determine whether the man’s death is linked to a chase involving Surete du Quebec officers.

On Wednesday night, the officers began pursuing a man on a motorcycle, after he refused to stop for them.

The man disappeared when he veered off onto the bike path to evade the police officers.
