OAK CREEK, Wis.- A lot of Canadians attended Friday’s funeral for the six Sikh worshipers who were murdered at their temple in a Milwaukee suburb.

Jagmeet Singh, a New Democrat member of Ontario’s legislature, was among Sikhs from across Canada who attended the service.

They joined hundreds of American Sikhs and other mourners who packed into a high school gym in Oak Creek.

Several young Canadian Sikhs carried banners of solidarity to the funeral where Singh says there was an “outpouring of love.”

Many dignitaries also attended, including U-S Attorney General Eric Holder and Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker.

White supremacist Wade Michael Page shot and killed six people and critically wounded three others last Sunday.

Page then killed himself after being wounded by police.
