GreekFest is back for another year Wednesday!

The 12-day festival features Greek dancing, activities and, of course, food.

“It’s a cultural and food festival, so we’re showcasing our Greek culture as well as some other nationalities as well on our multicultural nights, and [there will be] food–lots of Greek food,” chairman Jim Reklitis told 1310News. “We have roast lamb on the spit, a lot of different Greek delicacies, live entertainment, live bands playing, different dance groups performing, cooking demonstrations.”

The festival also has an arts court, where people can purchase artwork and a marketplace to buy Greek ingredients and goods.

There will also be Zorba dancing each night around 8:45 p.m.

GreekFest takes place at the Hellenic Meeting and Reception Centre on Prince of Wales Drive and there will be a free shuttle to and from the location.

Admission is free.

GreekFest runs from August 15-26.
