OTTAWA, Ont. – Litterbugs are costing the city millions every year.
    
People leaving their coffee cups, food wrappers and cigarette butts lying where they fall costs the city $5-million a year, according to the Sun.

Cigarette butts take up to 15 years to decompose.  Pop and beer cans, between 200 and 500 years.  

A Styrofoam cup will still be around for about a million years, after you’re gone.
