MONTREAL – A crash involving a Montreal transit bus and two cars has left two people dead and two seriously injured.

The accident happened at an intersection in an industrial park not far from Trudeau International Airport.

The impact was so great, the bus flipped on its side, and the engine of one car ended up in the vehicle’s passenger compartment.

The crash killed a 61-year-old female occupant of one of the cars, and the male bus driver, who was in his fifties.

The violent collision caused his body to be tossed through the bus widow.

Montreal fire services spokesman Luc Robillard (Row-bee-yahr) says he’s never seen such a violent bus crash during his 25 years on the job.

At least half a dozen others suffered minor injuries in the collision.
