OTTAWA – Former Ottawa Senators star Dany Heatley is suing his former agent and business advisor.
Heatley wants 11 million from Stacey McAlpine- as well as McAlpine’s parents – after several failed real estate ventures he was told would bring large returns.
One of those purchases included an Ottawa condominium; a 2.5 million dollar pad on George Street..
It’s believed Heatley has since sold that property.
The lawsuit also claims that McAlpine went into Heatley’s bank accounts and made withdrawals of more than $4 million without his permission.
The former Sens winger became very unpopular in the city after asking to be traded in 2008.
