Elizabethtown-Kitley Twp – County Road 29, just north of Brockville, was shut down between Dixie and Greenbush roads for most of Wednesday morning as police investigated a fatal collision.

According to police Paul Normandin, 51 of Toledo, was killed in a single vehicle crash just after 2:30 a.m.

Normandin, who was the only person in a GMC Sierra pick up truck, reportedly drove off the road and struck a tree.

The road has since re-opened but Leeds County OPP continue to investigate.

A post mortem will be conducted at a later date.
