OTTAWA, Ont. – Local roads are about to get busier.
Starting Wednesday, when the first students head back to class, and continuing next week, 600 school buses will be rolling onto Ottawa streets. The city is giving people a heads up Monday afternoon.
Mayor Jim Watson and Barrhaven Councillor Jan Harder will join members of the Ottawa Police Service and Ottawa Public Health at the corner of Berrigan and Longfields Drives in Barrhaven at 2 p.m.
They’ll be reminding the public to watch for children and school buses.
