OTTAWA, Ont. – Fire crews responded to three separate fires overnight Tuesday.
The first call came in just after 10 p.m. from a home on Waterford Way in the south end. A deck had caught fire, causing an estimated $6,000 worth of damage.
Crews have determined that it was an electrical fire that sparked at Willy’s Pizza on McEwen avenue just after 1 a.m.
Flames ripped through the business, causing an estimated $85,000 worth of damage.
Meanwhile, crews found a smouldering mattress at an Elliot Avenue home just before 2 a.m.
One person was treated for smoke inhalation. No other injuries were reported.
