OTTAWA, Ont. -  Music lovers are in their glory this weekend as the Ottawa Folk Festival takes over Hog’s Back Park.  The festival is a five-day celebration of music, dance, visual arts and community.  

There are two evening and five daytime stages, as well as music workshops for people of all ages.

This year’s line-up features Ben Harper, Matt Good, Bon Iver, The Great Lake Swimmers and Great Big Sea.

The Ottawa Folk Festival runs until Monday.

It’s also fall fair season in the region and there are three fairs happening this weekend.

The Renfrew Fair is on now and runs through to Monday, featuring livestock shows, exhibits, live entertainment and many other activities for the whole family.

The Spencerville Fair is also going on this weekend, wrapping up Sunday evening. Some of the highlights include handcrafts, animals, exhibits, a talent show and The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band performing!

The Russell Fair is also in full swing this weekend.  There are a number of highlights including, a classic auto and bike show, a demolition derby, horse competitions, an acrobatic show, a tractor pull and a performance by April Wine!
