A lightning strike is being blamed for a fire in Westboro, Saturday morning.
Firefighters were called to a house on Tweedsmuir Avenue — that’s near Carling and Kirkwood.
Lightning hit the roof of the house, and started a fire in the attic. The flames are now out.
Four people were home at the time of the fire, but no one was hurt.
Damage is estimated at $300,000.

Just after 5 p.m., heavy smoke broke out in a kitchen fire at 1900 Marquis Ave. in Gloucester.
8 people had to be evacuated while three people lost their home.
One person was assessed for smoke inhalation and placed with paramedics on location.
The damage is estimated at over $200,000.
The cause has not yet been determined.
