Federal language commissioner Graham Fraser says he’ll be keeping a close eye on Quebec’s new minority government.
Parti Quebecois premier-designate Pauline Marois is vowing to tighten Bill 101, the provincial law that restricts the use of languages other than French.
Fraser says he wants to ensure that any changes Marois makes don’t run afoul of the Charter of Rights and Freedoms.
