OTTAWA, ON.- A second young man has died following a single-car crash in the south end early Saturday morning.
A 21-year-old succumbed to his injuries at the Civic hospital on Sunday. The man was thrown from the mini-van in the collision that also left 16-year-old Julio Nibigirwe dead.
Nibigirwe was a recent grad of Franco-Cité secondary school.
The identity of the 21-year-old has not been released.
Three others were injured in the crash and suffered minor injuries.
The crash happened just after 2 a.m. Saturday morning at the intersection of River Road and Lowen Drive.
