OTTAWA- Students from all over the city gathered outside Premier Dalton McGuinty’s office on Kilborn Avenue Wednesday afternoon to protest the cuts to their after school activities.

Approximately 200 students are enraged about Bill 115, but aren’t taking sides, saying they feel like pawns in this labour dispute.

Whether it’s the swim team or theatre club they’ve all lost something to this labour dispute.

Mason is a grade 12 student at Hillcrest High School and tells 1310News he’s sad to lose the rugby team during his final year, but is also concerned about his grades.

“You can’t come into class early to study anything. No teachers are helping us out with math or science,” said Mason. “We understand where they’re coming from, but we’d like this to end.”

Many kids say they have no motivation to go to class anymore some skipping class for this protest.
