OTTAWA, Ont. – A second alarm fire in a two-storey semi-detached home has left five people homeless. The blaze started in the basement at 1494 Goth Ave 11:50 p.m. Sunday.
There were no injuries, and the family dog managed to escape.
Damages are pegged at $250-thousand. The cause is under investigation.
