OTTAWA, Ont. – The chair of the Ottawa Transit Commission has asked city management to look into implementing coffee kiosks at major OC Transpo stations.

Transit Commission chair and Councillor Diane Deans said it’s easy to find a coffee at Toronto bus stations, and doesn’t see why it can’t be the same in the capital.

According to the Ottawa Sun, the City of Ottawa is looking into a partnership with the private sector.

Ottawa residents seem to have mixed feelings about the concept.

“It’s a good idea”, one man told 1310News. “It’s convenient and saves time.”

“I don’t know how the bus drivers will deal with it”, another man said. “It will be a big mess with coffee cups all over.”
