Prime Minister Stephen Harper will come face-to-face this week with Pauline Marois for the first time since she was elected Premier of Quebec — and it’ll happen in Africa.

The two leaders will be traveling to the democratic republic of the Congo for the Francophonie Summit.

Canada, Quebec and officially-bilingual New Brunswick are all full members of the francophonie.

Federal Minister of State Bernard Valcourt says he fully expects the three governments will all sing from the same song-sheet.
