The company that hopes to build the Northern Gateway pipeline across British Columbia wants to know who’s funding its critics.
Calgary-based Enbridge is asking the federal review panel to force its opponents to reveal whether they’re getting funding from south of the border.
It specifically points to the Gordon and Betty Moore foundation in California, which has awarded millions of dollars for environmental causes in b-c.
A foundation spokesman says no funding has gone directly to opponents of the pipeline, but some might have gone towards research submitted to the review panel.
