OTTAWA, Ont. -Local police officers participated in the national traffic safety program called “Operation Impact” over the Thanksgiving long weekend.
Officers conducted enforcement focusing on the “Big 4″ which includes aggressive driving, use of seatbelts and child restraints, distracted driving and drinking and driving.
Four days of enforcement resulted in 13 impaired driving offences and over 700 traffic tickets.
