The Canadian Food Inspection agency has issued a warning for the public not to eat Fresh Express brand Hearts of Romaine salad due to a possible salmonella contamination.

The salad is sold in 510 g packages bearing UPC 0 71279 26201 7, production code S270A24, and Best Before Date OCT 11.

They are sold in stores across much of Canada.

No illnesses have been reported so far.
