A fire broke out at a residential home located at 1530 Weyburn Street shortly before one a.m. Sunday morning.
According to Ottawa Fire Services, the blaze spread from a wood pile along the exterior of the home to the roof of the bungalow.
Crews worked quickly to contain the fire and had the scene under control by 1:30 a.m.
Damages are estimated at $200,000 and have left two people homeless.
No injuries were reported.
