More than 4,000 participants gathered for the ‘light the night walk’ in the Nation’s Capital Saturday night.
Cancer survivors toted white illuminated balloons, while their supporters carried red ones;
Those honoring a loved were given a gold balloon.
Together, they raised approximately $400,000.
All the proceeds went to benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Canada.
