Laurentian Valley TWP. – Highway 17 is closed between Round Lake Road and Highway 41 in the Upper Ottawa Valley as OPP investigate a fatal crash.

Police say that a pick up truck collided with a tractor trailer around 9:30 a.m. Saturday morning at the intersection of B-Line road and Highway 17.

Brian Pratt, 58, of Deep River was pronounced dead at the scene.


The driver of the tractor trailer, Muraleetharam Paramanantham, 21, of Scarborough, and his passenger, Jahanzeb Baloch, 32, were not injured.
