Israel is interrogating a group of pro-Palestinian activists, including a former Canadian MP.
The activists were aboard a Finnish-flagged ship that tried to break Israel’s blockade of Gaza, which is ruled by the militant Islamic group Hamas.
Among those taken into custody is 79-year-old Jim Manly, who was a New Democratic M-P in the 1980′s.
Israeli officials say Manly and his colleagues will be deported to their homelands within three days.
