OC Transpo drivers are being recognized for their safety record today.

They will be awarded for being accident-free for 20 years while others are celebrating a spot-free record for 40 years.

The awards will be handed out by Mayor Jim Watson, chair of the transit commission Diane Deans, deputy city manager Steve Kanellakos, as well as other members of the city.

It takes place at 11 a.m. at the Nepean Sportsplex.
