OTTAWA, Ont. – A former Sunday school teacher is facing sex and weapons charges and police believe more charges could be laid, as there could be more victims.

An investigation began Friday when a person went to police about an alleged past sexual assault.

Facing charges is Paul Laframboise, 73, who taught in Fitzroy Harbour, West Carleton and Kanata.

Laframboise appeared in court Monday to answer to charges including sexual assault, invitation to sexual touching and sexual interference. He will be back in court Wednesday.

The investigation is ongoing.
