The northeast United States has been hit by a massive nor’easter.

The storm slammed into New York and New Jersey Wednesday, an area already shell shocked from the impact of Superstorm Sandy a week and a half ago.

Snow, heavy rain and howling winds rolled over the two states where residents are surrounded by damage from last week’s storm.

More than 650,000 people are without electricity and the storm saw almost 1,500 flights cancelled out of New York and New Jersey. The storm also shut down Penn Station and saw the Long Island Rail Line cancel services for most of Wednesday evening.

At the Ottawa Airport, there’s still a number of cancellations into New York City and Newark, but a few flights to the Big Apple are still a go. Click here for a list of cancellations and delays.
