The first shot in the race for the leadership of the Ontario Liberal Party has been fired.
Glen Murray targeted rival Sandra Pupatello over her comments saying she would delay recalling the legislature.
In a release, Murray said “MPPs’ voices should be heard in the legislature as soon as our new Premier is chosen, Ontarians want renewal, action, not political games.”
Murray said he would recall the legislature on February 19th, if he wins the party leadership.
Pupatello, meanwhile, said she would want to win a seat of her own in Queens Park before recalling MPPs.
