OTTAWA-A 38-year-old man is recovering in hospital after a single vehicle collision north of Kemptville.

The crash happened just before 4 a.m. Sunday morning on 4th Line Road at Dilworth Road, the man was traveling in the vehicle by himself and he suffered severe head injuries and other trauma.

He was treated by paramedics at the scene, then rushed to the Ottawa Trauma Centre and has since been down-graded to non-life-threatening condition.

The Citizen reporting police believe alcohol was a factor in the crash.

Charges are pending.
