B.C.-An RCMP officer who was killed in a fiery crash in British Columbia Tuesday morning, grew up and went to school in Ottawa.
Twenty-eight-year-old Adrian Oliver was a second generation Mountie, his father is a senior officer in Ottawa.
Oliver began training with the RCMP in 2008, he was first posted to Surrey in 2009.
Oliver’s unmarked police car collided with a semi-trailer.
He was rushed to hospital but could not be saved.
Public Safety Minister Vic Toews says the death of Constable Oliver is very sad for all Canadians.
