OTTAWA – A failed aquarium pump is believed to be the cause of an electric fire Sunday evening at 341 Gloucester Street.
Fire crews arrived just before 7:30 p.m. to a three storey, three unit row house complex where they found one of the units on fire.
Firefighters quickly extinguished the flames.
No one was injured, but as a result of the fire there was a heavy amount of soot so the one person was advised to find another place to stay overnight.
The damage is estimated at $5,000.
