OTTAWA, ON – After a busy day of parading in Kanata and the capital’s downtown on Saturday, Santa Claus is stopping in Barrhaven.
Old Saint Nick and his reindeer will be at the 15th annual Santa Claus Parade, which starts at 5:30 p.m. on Sunday.
There will be 60 floats travelling along the route and 30, 000 people are expected to take in the holiday festivities.
“Santa of course will be there “, Russ Arthurs of the BIA told 1310News. “We’ve also got fire-eaters, elves along the way, unicycles and lot’s of Santa’s helpers.”
Non-perishable food items and cash donations will be collected along the route to support the Barrhaven Food Cupboard.
Many personalities from 1310News and our Rogers Radio family will be bundled up and out on the parade route collecting donations.
