OTTAWA, Ont. – No one was injured in a house fire in Constance Bay Monday night.

Ottawa Fire was called to a single family home on 154 Scenic Lane just after 7:15 p.m.

The fire was quickly controlled, and it was contained to the basement. Damage is pegged at $10,000.

Meantime, crews were called to a second alarm fire at a home in Stittsville shortly after midnight Tuesday.

A family of four was inside the home on Manchester Street when the fire broke out, but they managed to escape unharmed.

The fire caused $375,000 worth of damage and is now under investigation.
