OTTAWA, Ont. – The search is on for two men caught on video stealing a CHEO donation box from a west-end grocery store.

The donation box went missing from the McDaniel’s Independent Grocer near Merivale Road and Meadowlands Drive, owner Jerry McDaniel told 1310News. Surveillance cameras show a man, with an accomplice, grabbing the donation box minutes before closing time Tuesday.

Last November, another CHEO donation box was stolen from the same store. The thief in that case was also caught on video, and was later caught and charged.
