OTTAWA -  Police are investigating an armed robbery in the west end.

A lone suspect armed with a weapon entered a business located within the 2000 block of Prince Of Wales Dr.

The man demanded and received cash and cigarettes from the store clerk.  The suspect then exited the store and fled on foot.

A description of the suspect has not yet been released.
