ACTON VALE, – Funeral services were held this afternoon for three Quebec children found dead last weekend in a Drummondville home.
   
Balloons were released into the sky as mourners filed out of a church packed to capacity in the town of Acton Vale.
   
The children’s mother, Sonia Blanchette, is charged with three counts of first-degree murder in connection with the deaths of five-year-old Lorelie, four-year-old Loic and two-year-old Anais.
   
Louise Blanchette, the woman’s aunt, says the family tried to make today about remembering three beautiful children.
  
She says it’s too soon to lay blame for the tragedy.
   
Residents who attended the funeral say the family is well known in the community and runs a tree farm in the area.
   
Two tractors from the farm were parked outside the church nd filled with stuffed animals as a tribute to the children.
  
The children were found dead last weekend in a home in Drummondville.
   
Blanchette, 33, will undergo a psychiatric assessment to determine if she’s fit to stand trial – her next court appearance is Dec. 14.
