Ottawa, ON – If you plan on celebrating the holidays with a few drinks this weekend, Operation Red Nose Ottawa will be ready to drive you home.

Last weekend the organization had to shut down their phone lines early due to a lack of volunteers.

After making their plea to the public, spokesman, Adam LeClair tells 1310News they’ve had plenty of people step forward to help.

“We have been getting 20 new applications per day”

But they still need people to donate four hours of their time to volunteer for the safe ride home program.
