OTTAWA, Ont. – Jeremy Rees, 23, has been sentenced to four years, 11 months and 18 days in jail after pleading guilty to impaired driving causing death.
He has also been banned from driving for ten years.
Erin Vance, 26, was killed when Rees’s car struck her while she walked home home from a St. Patrick’s Day party in Constance Bay on March 18, 2012. Vance left behind her two twin boys, Caleb and Liam.
