PERTH, Ont. — A local mother’s search for her daughter has taken her to British Columbia.

Emma Fillipoff, 26, has been missing since November 28. She may be dealing with mental health issues, and for unknown reasons, had been living at a Victoria women’s shelter.

Fillipoff does not have a history of leaving for extended periods of time without checking in with her family, and that has both police and the Fillipoff family concerned.

Her mother has now flown to B.C. in an attempt to locate her daughter, but arrived at the women’s shelter just five hours after her daughter had left.

A Facebook page dedicated to finding Emma has been set up.
