OTTAWA, Ont. – The founder of Capital Hoedown apologized Tuesday for the cancellation of this past summer’s doomed country music festival, and adds the event will happen next year.
Denis Benoit blames a series of ‘unforeseen obstacles’ for the festival’s downfall, but writes he is “very sorry he let everyone down.”
Benoit goes on to write, he will try to regain the trust of customers so that the event can go ahead in 2013.
The lineup, venue and ticket information will be announced in February.
Founder apologizes; promises Hoedown’s return in 2013
